New Avenues for Youth is a Portland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness. Our services for young people (ages 9-25) focus on the individual—their experiences, identities, needs, and goals—and helping them make positive change in their lives.

To provide mountain bike outings and environmental education to kids who would not otherwise have these opportunities. We use the bike as a tool to teach lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness.

We empower teenagers to transform the negative forces in their lives into positive action. Using the performing arts and community action as vehicles, our teenagers learn to build relationships across differences, resolve conflicts without violence, take on their responsibility to others, and lead.

The mission of Bikes for the World is to make affordable, good quality used bicycles available to low-income people, primarily in developing countries. These donated bikes provide better transport for work, education, and health care. Bikes for the World also generates additional skilled employment in bike repair and maintenance overseas, and provides satisfying environmental and humanitarian service opportunities for volunteers in the United States.

Coalition for Courage helps needy children, especially those affected by H.I.V. in sub-Saharan Africa, by providing health, education and welfare services.

B.U.O.Y. Foundation is a faith-based, non profit, 501(c)3 organization that exists to help youth in Prince William county and surrounding areas develop into well rounded, positive, contributing members of society. Utilizing educational, professional development and spiritual resources we endeavor to provide academic support to supplement the education youth receive in the public school system. Our program offerings include private tutoring, college preparation seminars, college tours, academic summer programs and other educational and social services that will build and develop youth academically, spiritually, and socially.

The mission of the Solana Beach Schools Foundation (SBSF) is to raise funds to bridge the gap between vital school needs and state funding to enrich the public education of all students in the Solana Beach school district.

Pursuit of Innovation teaches technology skills, as well as challenges and inspires students with potential in refugee and other undeserved communities-empowering them to achieve success and influence stability in their families and communities.

DoPeace is formed to bring the little children of the slums of the world into classrooms. Since 2014, more than 10,000 children have been enrolled by DoPeace in the slums of Bangladesh. We have developed an infrastructure of five NGOs, 100 teachers and professionals, and 45 one-room schools in five slums. This project is to add 10 preschools, bringing 2,100 little children into the classrooms. We operate the schools at the low cost of $1/child/month. Thus, the project cost is $25,200 for one year.
