HomeAid Atlanta's mission is to build new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach. HomeAid Atlanta builds and renovates facilities for organizations serving Atlanta's homeless population. Past projects include transitional housing facilities, a free-of-charge health clinic for the homeless, one teen center, and many more, with additional projects currently in development. The result—more than 750 homeless people are provided housing each year in metro Atlanta through HomeAid Atlanta-built housing facilities.

Formerly known as Alpha House of Tampa offers homeless pregnant women and mothers with young children safe housing and the tools they need to become self-sufficient and effective responsible parents.

The Margaret Home is a residential empowerment program that revives hope for mothers who maintain a limited or broken support network and who struggle with the often-invisible wounds of trauma. Dedicated to serving women through all stages of pregnancy and early motherhood, we provide healing and unconditional love in a comfortable home and caring communal environment that nurtures an empowered spirit and a healthy lifestyle. For each of our mothers, we create a self-directed action plan along with the structure and resources to enable the achievement of personal, educational and professional goals that can lead to independence for a woman and her family.

There is an overwhelming need for affordable housing for low-income families across Dallas County. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) defines "affordable housing" as monthly mortgage or rent payments costing no more than 30 percent of a household's gross income. An alarming 34% of Dallas homeowners are spending over 30% of their gross income to pay their mortgage and other homeownership-related expenses. Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity alleviates the housing burden placed on low-income families by offering them an innovative model to own a quality home with affordable 0% interest loans. Habitat homes are financed by generous donations from community supporters and largely built by the partner Habitat family with dedicated volunteers. C
