Our Mission is to assure the promise of hospice. We do this by increasing access to hospice care, helping communities understand the truth of hospice, and providing financial assistance to benefit hospice patients and their caregivers.

The Little Sisters of the Poor offers life long security and care for the elderly in a home-like setting, surrounding them with thoughtful attention, spiritual support and appropriate medical care. The Little Sisters uphold the dignity and value of each life, promote the well-being of every needy elderly person and keep vigil with them when dying. The Sisters embrace poverty and depend on the generosity of others who are willing to share in their mission. The congregation was founded in Brittany, France by St. Jeanne Jugan in 1839. Since their inception, the Little Sisters have given quality care to over 1,000,000 aged poor. Today 2,900 Little Sisters serve in over 200 homes in 31 countries.

Mama’s Kitchen provides medically tailored, home-delivered meals and nutrition education at no cost to San Diego residents who are at risk of malnutrition due to critical illnesses (such as HIV, cancer, heart failure, diabetes, and kidney disease). Their goal is to improve client health and dignity by ensuring access to appropriate, nutrition-focused food and related services.

The Virginia Home provides long-term residential, nursing and therapeutic care for adults with permanent physical disabilities, aiming to ensure residents’ lifelong comfort, security and opportunities for a meaningful, engaged life regardless of ability to pay.

ChildServe is a not-for-profit organization that partners with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life. Originally founded in 1928 as a convalescent home for children, today ChildServe provides specialized pediatric health care services to more than 2,000 children in Iowa. Through the support of private insurance, public funds, and the philanthropic efforts of the ChildServe Foundation, ChildServe offers accessible, family-centered care unique to each child’s needs, hopes, and dreams. Realizing that people can be impoverished physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially, Covenant Soup Kitchen provides food and access to basic services in an environment of care, love, support and safety to those individuals and families from the greater Windham community who come through our doors. We rely on the generosity of the community and its faith to help us carry out this mission.

THE LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR OPERATES THE SACRED HEART HOME FOR THE AGED IN DENVER, COLORADO, WHICH PROVIDES NURSING AND RESIDENTIAL CARE FOR THE NEEDY ELDERLY. THE HONE IS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONGREGATION OF THE LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR, WHICH WAS FOUNDED IN FRANCE IN 1839 AND SERVES THE ELDERLY IN 31 COUNTRIES.
