The Moss Foundation's mission is to Motivate, Encourage, and Inspire children in Detroit in three ways: Housing, Education and Residential Treatment Facilities. Motivate (Housing): We want to MOTIVATE current and prospective residents to become homeowners so that our children have stable environments to learn and play in. Encourage (Education): We want to ENCOURAGE our children to become EDUCATED ENTREPRENEURS. We provide annual scholarships to Detroit children who are majoring in business with an interest in entrepreneurship. Inspire (Residential Treatment Facilities): We believe that every Detroit child should have access to mental health Children are truly an Inspiration and we support our children with residential treatment facilities.

Serving Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Harrison, and Jefferson Counties, Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is a grass-roots, non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in the local community. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity provides hard-working, low-income families with an opportunity for homeownership that would not otherwise be possible. Families and individuals that partner with Habitat for Humanity help to build or renovate a home, then purchase their home with an affordable, zero-interest mortgage. We are committed to increasing awareness of homelessness, developing and coordinating community serivces, and securing contributions of time money and resources.
A non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to addressing the needs of the homeless in Medina County. Churches provide shelter and meals for the homeless. A United Way grant allowed for the provision of case management and homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing services to transition the homeless from the shelter to permanent housing.
