Project 150 provides food, clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, and special requests to homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students. Our mission is to collaborate with schools and community organizations to maximize resources and allow students to focus on achieving graduation.

In Monroe County, Indiana, a person earning minimum wage must work 72 hours every week of the year to afford a two-bedroom apartment. In a county where 1 in 5 people are living in poverty, unaffordable housing holds our community back from being a place that families can call “home”. Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County’s mission is to eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with qualifying families. Habitat homeowners pay interest-free, no-profit mortgages, which are used to build more habitat houses. Because houses are principally built with volunteer labor, mortgage payments are affordable for low-income partners. Habitat qualifying families, or partner families, are selected based on their need for housing, ability to repay the no-interest mortgage and willingness to partner with habitat by earning 250 hours of “sweat equity” or volunteer time. Through the work of thousands of volunteers and organizations, habitat for humanity of monroe county has built approx. 170 homes.

Working with our many partners, Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity builds strength, stability and self-reliance through homeownership in Hampshire and Franklin counties. The Allendale Shelter Club is committed to supporting the Allendale Association’s mission of providing excellence and innovation in the care, treatment, education and advocacy for children and youth with serious emotional, mental health and behavioral challenges. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of the children at allendale through our work in fundraising, stewardship, special events and advocacy.

The Lowell Transitional Living Center provides the most vulnerable adults in our community with programs and services that meet immediate needs for emergency shelter and food, along with case management and other help that enable those we serve to make the transition from a shelter bed to a permanent place to call home.

Safehome's mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence and partner abuse for victims and their children by providing shelter, advocacy, counseling, and prevention education in our community.

The mission of the New Hope Family Shelter (NHFS) is to provide temporary shelter for homeless families in Bloomington and Monroe County and, in collaboration with other agencies, to help those families regain housing by addressing the problems that led to homelessness.

The mission of Chest of Hope is to encourage and promote a healthy family system through prevention, education, intervention and support. It is our hope to bring domestic violence out of the closet while working simultaneously to eradicate personal, recognized and cultural violence against all individuals and to yoke the community against it. Chest of Hope provides a home and establishes a standard of excellence where victims will have safe and healthy relationships free of sexual and domestic violence and a stellar quality of life.

Good Samaritan Haven will provide compassionate care and emergency shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness in Central Vermont.
