Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is a nonpartisan, 501c3 non-profit organization and a member of the Feeding America National Network of Food Banks. As a Feeding America Food Bank, we recover and distribute food to our low-income neighbors, but we know putting food on a plate is not enough. We also provide programs designed to empower people with skills to meet their own food needs through culinary job training, beginner gardening, and cooking healthy on a budget. We feed, teach, and grow to create a hunger-free and healthy community.
The Community Food Club is an innovative and dignified approach to food security rooted in consumer choice, member participation, and access to healthy foods.

Izi Azi Foundation's mission is to lift lives in Tucson and surrounding areas. The main program is Felicia's Farm, created to honor the memory of Felicia Ann Cutler whose vision was to “feed the people and teach them to feed themselves". She passed in 2009 but her legacy of caring continues. Her husband created the Farm in her memory and the work we do honors her generous spirit. Felicia's Farm obtained nonprofit status in 2011. Felicia's Farm donates an average of 700 pounds of produce and 130 dozen eggs each week, annually helping over 6,000 people. We produce the food, and donate free of charge for distribution through other nonprofit organizations, Everyone deserves good food. Good nutrition builds good lives.

The D300 Food Pantry is a school-based food pantry with the purpose of providing families within School District 300 (the 6th largest in Illinois with 8 Title I schools and 21K students) as well as district employees a consistent, healthy, and accessible resource to obtain weekly food assistance. We are 100% volunteer-run and 100% donation-dependent. We acquire most of our food through our local Food Bank at a very reasonable cost. We strive to provide a welcoming, comfortable, and even enjoyable atmosphere for families to visit - encouraging parents to bring their kids to enjoy the "shopping" experience too! Families may visit as often as weekly. If families are visiting the pantry, then kids' bellies are full. And, that's our mission - we are...KEEPIN' THE KIDS FED!

Book Baskets, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established in 1995 with the goal of encouraging reading through book ownership. For over 20 years we have been deeply committed to giving new or lightly used books to those children in our area who might not otherwise have books of their own. We currently serve over 30 local social service agencies or education programs. On average, we place over 20,000 books per year into the appreciative hands of children from the Charlottesville and Albemarle County area. A small bookplate is placed in the front of each book, allowing the recipient to identify the gift book as his or her own.
