We believe that there are incredible gifts in Brownsville youth that can be triggered through actively engaging their interest through science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) content; and bridging the gap between them and opportunities to exercise those principles with real projects. Empowering immigrants and others to become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged. Hispanic Unity of Florida, Inc. (HUF) was founded 34 years ago, in 1982, by community leaders who recognized south Florida's growing role as a haven for immigrants and refugees. HUF is the largest 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in Broward County dedicated to serving the immigrant population by fulfilling its mission of "Empowering Immigrants and others to become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged". HUF's goal is to ease immigrants' acculturation transition by providing skills, services and tools to help them build their new lives in their adopted country. Recognizing that focusing on and providing coaching on an individual basis is more likely to achieve educational and economic success, HUF offers a one-stop, integrated and multiservice approach designed to serve entire families and meet their evolving needs as they build new lives. Annually, we serve 17,000 diverse and multicultural clients from the United States and from more than 25 other countries.

The IDEAYA Inc Scholarship Fund is based on the premise that by providing opportunities for at-risk, inner city youth to become self-supporting, we enhance the growth of our community as a whole.We work to address the financial and logistic barriers that keep many at-risk youth from gaining tertiary education. IDEAYA Inc. provides vocational/technical training scholarship opportunities for inner city youth of Austin. In addition to financial assistance, we provide mentorships and guidance to help students and their families navigate through the rigors of college life.

CareerCatchers works to promote career stability and self-sufficiency for every client through individualized counseling, training, and support. Since 2007, CareerCatchers has provided one-on-one sustained guidance for some 2,000 low-income and otherwise disadvantaged local residents. Our services are provided through the efforts of our Staff, Board of Directors, Volunteers, and Partners.

The Iraqi Children Foundation intervenes with love and hope in the lives of Iraqi orphans, child laborers, and displaced children who are vulnerable to abuse, neglect, and exploitation by criminals, extremists, and human traffickers. The mission of the Iraqi Children Foundation is to invest in Iraq's orphans, street children, and displaced children by; being a voice for children with no voice, mobilizing resources to invest in education, health, protection, and trauma care, emphasizing sustainable hand-up initiatives over hand-outs, and, investing in training and capacity-building of Iraqis caring for children.
