The Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice continues the work that Rachel Corrie began and hoped to accomplish, and carries out that work with her vision, spirit, and creative energy in mind. We conduct and support programs that foster connections between people, that build understanding, respect, and appreciation for differences, and that promote cooperation within and between local and global communities. We value and seek creative, and even unconventional, approaches to problems.We agree with Rachel that it is important to make commitments to people and places. We will continue the commitment to Rafah that she initiated and intended to maintain.

Network Support and Promotion of Immigrant families

Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which to connect day workers and employers with dignity. In addition, we strive to empower day workers and improve their socio-economic condition through fair employment, education, job skills training, and community service. The Center also supports advocacy efforts on issues that affect day workers.

Humanitarian health care delivery

API Chaya supports Asian, South Asian, and Pacific Islander survivors and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as human trafficking survivors from all communities. API Chaya engages communities to change societal conditions that enable domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking and all forms of oppression, especially violence against women and the most vulnerable in our society.

The mission of the Koreatown Youth and Community Center, Inc. (KYCC) is to serve the evolving needs of the Korean American population in the greater Los Angeles Area as well as the multi-ethnic Koreatown community. KYCC's programs and services are directed toward recently immigrated, economically disadvantaged youth and families, and to promote community socio-economic empowerment.

Refugee Council USA mobilizes expertise, ideas, and influence to protect the rights of forcibly displaced people and build more welcoming societies. The organization envisions a just world where those forced to flee their homes have agency, access to safety, and opportunities to thrive.
