The Nation Institute's primary exempt purpose is to undertake and support activities with an emphasis on the independent media, civil liberties, social justice and peace. 

The America-Israel Friendship League (AIFL) has been building and mobilizing grassroots support for Israel and strengthening the relationship between the two countries through people-to-people activities for 50 years. By sending Leadership Delegations to Israel, conducting outreach to program alumni and other interested parties, engaging in Pastor/ Educator Seminars, and hosting an annual Youth Ambassador Student Exchange (YASE), AIFL continues the vision of its founders. These leaders sought to promote a strong and enduring friendship and cooperative bond between Americans and Israelis of all ages, faiths, ethnic backgrounds and political orientations. Mission Statement Beyond making friends, our mission is aimed towards increasing Americans’ understanding of the contemporary Israel story – its entrepreneurship, culture, medical research, environmental protection initiatives, and so much more. This is a story unknown to most Americans because the media almost always presents Israel principally through the lens of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict. Broadening that lens is critical to building greater support for Israel.

Our mission (est. September 2007, inc. June 2008): we promote mutual understanding and acceptance among diverse groups serving as a resource to both local institutions and the community at large. We serve as catalysts for change through collaboration, education, training, dialogue, fellowship and advocacy. Services include: cultural literacy and cultural competence training, consulting & facilitation, youth leadership and multicultural education, parent education, civil rights & social justice forums & conferences, and advocacy of diverse groups.

The Political Asylum/Immigration Representation (PAIR) Project is an award-winning, nationally recognized model of collaboration and legal excellence empowering the immigrant community in Massachusetts with access to justice, hope, and safety. PAIR serves low-income asylum seekers from across the world, unaccompanied minors, and immigrants who are unjustly detained, guiding them through the first step on the journey to becoming United States citizens.

With core expertise in community service and financial education, the Emmett Pollard Philanthropy Society is dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth and adults throughout the United States, primarily through establishing positive influence in communities, offering unique experience opportunities, and upholding a consistent financial commitment to make a difference.

Embracing the Gospel value of welcoming the stranger, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) promotes the dignity and protects the rights of immigrants in partnership with a dedicated network of Catholic and community legal immigration programs.

Washington English Center (WEC)'s mission is to provide affordable English-language instruction and workforce programs to adult immigrants using volunteers. WEC envisions a world in which all immigrants have access to the education and support they need to achieve their goals.
