Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization dedicated to actively promoting the recovery of unused medical supplies for the purpose of Global aid, waste reduction, and cost-effectiveness. We are directed to improve healthcare in Africa. Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation and partners work together with a shared purpose to provide critical medical supplies, equipment and training to hospitals in rural Africa. Our vision is to supply hospitals throughout rural Africa with medical necessities and training until such time they are self-sustaining. We are focussed on creating a community in which all people achieve their full potential for health and well-being across the life-span. Dembi Dollo believes that patients deserve to have timely access to healthcare and that our systems should reflect this value. HHP is a California-registered 501(c)(3) charity founded in 2005 to fund primary care services through a medical clinic in the rural area of Grande Colline. Our clinic in Cherident is staffed by an all Haitian medically-trained team that treats 4.000 patients each year, mostly women and young children. Many patients walk as long as four hours to receive vaccines, antibiotics, other medicines and a peanut-based supplement for infant malnutrition (medika mamba). In the United States, we are a 100% volunteer organization so that all of our donations can be maximized where they matter most: in Haiti.  Over 90% of our current donations go directly to the clinic's expenses. 

Assist International is involved in two primary areas: 1) Children's relief projects and, 2) Medical projects in third world and developing countries. Assist International builds the capacity of hospitals in developing countries to more effectively serve the people in their area. We provide medical equipment and training for physicians and nursing staff, which significantly increases the amount and quality of care that a hospital is able to give. AI also work to build the capacity of local governments, community members, and/or NGO's to met the primary and developmental needs of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC's) within their community.

Malaika’s mission is to empower Congolese girls and their communities through education and health programs. The grassroots non-profit operates in the village of Kalebuka, in the Southeastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Our core belief is that disaster response begins with preparedness, and that both disaster preparedness and response should integrate the efforts of governments, militaries, NGOs and the private sector. By strengthening disaster preparedness and response in the Asia Pacific, PWA seeks to reduce the high human, political and economic costs of natural disasters in the Pacific Rim.

EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.

Our purpose is to end poverty in neglected communities by working hand-in-hand with local residents to implement sustainable change solutions that change lives forever.

Our mission is to help cancer patients get access to the most effective treatments available. We want to make sure that cancer patients' lives depend not on their income or birthplace, but on the progress of modern medicine. We focus on supporting children and adults undergoing treatment in St. Petersburg, Russia or those traveling for treatment abroad. Some patients require stem cell transplants from foreign bone marrow donor registries. Others, with rare and less-studied types of cancer, have to travel for treatment or participation in clinical trials abroad.

The JM Demaree Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that provides practical, emotional, spiritual, and social work support to desperately poor, and needy children and families in Moldova.

The mission of Project Salone is to care for the orphan and widow and advocate for the voiceless. Project Salone will raise awareness of the orphan crisis and directly aid orphans and impoverished families to create a sustainable future.

Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International of the Americas is an international organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities. About 45,000 Soroptimists in 20 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects benefiting women and girls. Soroptimist International of the Americas is part of Soroptimist International, which comprises almost 95,000 members in about 120 countries. The name, Soroptimist, means 'best for women,' and that's what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best working to help other women to be their best. Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of service to their communities. Club projects range from renovating domestic violence shelters, to providing mammograms to low-income women, to sponsoring self-esteem workshops for teenage girls. In addition, Soroptimists participate in organization-wide programs that include the Women's Opportunity Awards, Soroptimist Club Grants for Women and Girls, the Soroptimist Workplace Campaign to End Domestic Violence, the Making a Difference for Women Award and the Violet Richardson Award. All projects seek to make life better for women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

One Heart World-Wide (OHW) is a 501(c)(3) organization with over 15 years of experience implementing maternal and neonatal mortality prevention programs in areas where women often die alone at home giving birth. Our aim is to improve access to, and utilization of healthcare services to reduce the risk of maternal and neonatal mortality in the most remote, rural areas. We believe that all women and newborns can receive the quality healthcare services they deserve during pregnancy and childbirth, anytime and anyplace. Maternal and perinatal mortality are considered key indicators for health and development. OHW specializes in improving the access to, and the delivery of essential healthcare services in regions where the need is the greatest. We work in remote areas with the lowest human development indexes, where other organizations rarely operate. Pregnant women in these high-risk regions are often faced with little to no access to medical care. Socio-cultural barriers, limited personal resources, lack of information, geographical limitations, and inadequate healthcare services prevent pregnant women from receiving the essential care they need to have a safe pregnancy and childbirth. OHW addresses these barriers by improving access to healthcare services in the world's hardest to reach places. We deliver results and drive systemic change, saving lives now and in the future.
