THE MISSION OF THE USTA FOUNDATION IS TO BRING TENNIS AND EDUCATION TOGETHER TO CHANGE LIVES Using this powerful combination, we help serve up dreams for under-resourced youth. The USTA Foundation is a 501 c(3) charitable organization incorporated in 1994 as the philanthropic entity of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). USTA Foundation uses the sport of tennis as a vehicle to help under-resourced youth become more engaged in school and learning with the goal of succeeding in tennis and in life. To that end, we support programs nationwide that leverage tennis and education to help those in need, primarily through the National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) network. The NJTL network features more than 270 chapters that reach over 130,000 youth on an annual basis, providing free or low-cost tennis and education programming to the 50 largest markets in the U.S. - nurturing future leaders and enabling kids in need to succeed on the court, in the classroom and in life. Our efforts are making a difference. To date, we have awarded more than $64 million in program services, grants and scholarships to hundreds of programs, benefitting thousands of children and adults through tennis, education and health curricula. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.

Our vision is to foster an inclusive world for children with disabilities. Our mission creates play, dignity and social equity for children with disabilities through inclusive playgrounds and education programs that unite children of all abilities. Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration has grown into a powerful network of 80 inclusive, sensory and literacy-rich playgrounds throughout the world. Our Together, We Are Able education program is in over 67 countries and transforms the playgrounds into classrooms where children with and without disabilities learn to see beyond their differences.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Peace Sisters assists over 470 underprivileged girls to access educational opportunities in Togo, West Africa. Peace Sisters was founded by Tina Kampor, a Togolese American woman who moved to California in 2003 and worked hard so she would be able to send money back to Togo to help girls who might otherwise have dropped out of school. School fee payments, solar study lamps, ID Cards, menstrual pads, and basic health insurance are some of the ways that Peace Sisters helps girls to succeed in their education. In 2021, Peace Sisters celebrated the first college graduation by a girl in our program!

The mission of Union Station Homeless Services is to help men, women and children rebuild their lives and end homelessness. We provide a full continuum of housing, employment and life skills programs to help people regain dignity and achieve self-sufficiency. We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual and strive to provide the highest quality of services based on a foundation of respect for all people.

Feeding Westchester’s mission is to end hunger in Westchester County. As the heart of a network of more than 300 partners, we source and distribute food, and other resources, to towns across Westchester helping to ensure that none of our neighbors are hungry. We feed Westchester.

The mission of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is: No One Goes Hungry in Central & Eastern North Carolina. Established in 1980, the Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for over 35 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines) and Wilmington. Sadly, food insecurity remains a serious problem in central and eastern North Carolina. In these counties, more than 636,920 people struggle to access nutritious and adequate amounts of food necessary for a healthy life.

Philabundance works to end hunger and malnutrition. Philabundance trucks collect food directly from local delivery. Food donations through Philabundance allow these organizations to serve the community.
