We pledge: to establish contacts and facilitate networking and linkages among individuals, organizations, and agencies, both non-government and government, concerned with street children in the Philippines and throughout the Asia region; to facilitate advocacy, social mobilization, research, training, technical assistance, and program support activities at the national and regional levels; and to maintain a databank of information on street children and exploited children (research studies, programs and services, resource groups and individuals).

Literacy India's primary objectives are to provide underprivileged children with basic education and to offer vocational training to women from villages and slums, building confidence and awareness among both groups, and empowering children and women to become self sufficient in their communities.

At Listen and Talk, our mission is to teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing to communicate and learn through listening and spoken language. With the aid of advanced hearing technology and committed families involved in specialized programs provided by Listen and Talk, almost all children with hearing loss can learn to listen and use spoken language, allowing them to fully participate in a hearing world. Listen and Talk achieves these remarkable results by combining proven auditory-based educational methods with the use of advanced hearing technology including: digital/programmable hearing aids, cochlear implants, personal FM systems, and sound field systems for classrooms. For optimal success, we strive to apply our teaching methods to children in infancy-as soon as they are identified with hearing loss. Most Listen and Talk "graduates": Enter their neighborhood school by kindergarten, Learn and compete side-by-side with peers in regular classrooms, Converse and learn through spoken and written language, Reach their full language and learning potential and fully integrate into the wider community. Lifelong goals for each child include: The ability to learn and gain information through listening,the ability to effectively communicate without the need for an interpreter, the ability to think and reason independently, the use of age-appropriate literacy skills for communication, learning and enjoyment, intelligible speech, problem solving skills, and social engagement.

The mission of Griffith Observatory Foundation is to support and promote Griffith Observatory as a home for science literacy, education, and public astronomy through resource development and advocacy in partnership with the community.

Since 1890, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) has been a global leader in research and education. The international scientific community at CSHL provides a unique and stimulating atmosphere for doctoral research—an environment where students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty work side-by-side. The Watson School of Biological Sciences (WSBS) was founded on the belief that with well thought-out mechanisms, enthusiastic involvement of faculty, and highly motivated students, an innovative curriculum could be provided that would allow students to earn a doctoral degree in a shorter time than in traditional programs without compromising the quality of their training. Hope's mission is bring hope to the marginalised sections of the society. HOPE Recovery Centre, Belgaum: A30 bedded treatment facility for the alcoholics and drug addicts based at Piranwadi, Belgaum, established in 1999. SUPPPORT, Bangalore: Care centre for the HIV/AIDS affected persons at the Sumanahalli campus, Magadi road, which can provide residential care and rehabilitation for 30 persons. SUPPPORT, Belgaum: Care centre for the HIV/AIDS affected persons at Camp, Belgaum which can provide residential care and rehabilitation for 15 persons. Bangalore Cares for Nepal is our intervention for the earthquake affected persons in Nepal. We focus on education and shelter. We also promote voluntary work in this field.
