For the better part of 100 years, Soroptimist has been working to empower women and girls throughout the world. Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Over 30,000 members in 20 countries and territories participate in the Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women; Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls; and local projects tailored to meet the community needs of women and girls.

The mission of Bivona Child Advocacy Center is to coordinate and provide services and support to meet the needs of child victims of sexual or physical abuse and their families at a single, safe child-friendly facility. Bivona advocates on behalf of abused children by reducing trauma, increasing accountability, fostering healing, and promoting education and awareness to the community.

The mission of The Advocates for Human Rights is to implement international human rights standards to promote civil society and reinforce the rule of law. By involving volunteers in research, education and advocacy, we build broad constituencies in the United States and selected global communities.

Prevent, Protect, Change - The mission of SAFE Shelter Center for Domestic Violence is to prevent domestic violence, protect victims and promote change in lives, families and our community. For over 30 years, SAFE Shelter has been Savannah’s only shelter dedicated to victims of intimate partner violence and their underage children.  Open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, the Shelter provides safe, confidential services to all victims of domestic violence.

Empowerment is at the core of all of CASA’s work – to move disadvantaged community members from a position of oppression to a position of power. CASA’s approach is not only to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services and programs that meet the needs of immigrant and working class communities, but also to leverage their assets and strengths to work for systemic solutions that will benefit generations to come. Founded in 1985 by congregants of a church, CASA is a national leader in providing innovative, immigrant-focused services that range from economic empowerment, to financial independence, and social integration, with over 122,000 members across 48 states.

The Black Student Fund was established in 1963 to desegregate the independent schools of metropolitan Washington, DC and make them accessible to black children, irrespective of economic status. To that end, the Fund has built a multidimensional set of programs that support its mission and influence changes within the schools and the community as a whole. In addition to providing scholarships and essential support services to low-income black children, grades K through 12, our comprehensive programs include outreach and referral services featuring an Annual School Fair; summer school programs; and, through our Institute for Equity, Race & Education, we conduct courses in cross-racial communication for school faculty and administrators.

Childhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. We focus our efforts on advocacy, prevention, treatment and community outreach
