The mission of Rose Brooks Center is to break the cycle of domestic violence so that individuals and families can live free of abuse.

Lily Pad Haven 's mission is to provide transitional housing for survivors of human trafficking who need the comfort and protection of a healing, supportive environment to restore body, mind and spirit. They focus their efforts on providing an integrated system of care in collaboration with internal programs and community partners.

Mission Statement The Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence (MCEDV) mobilizes collaborative community action with and on behalf of a statewide network of Domestic Violence Resource Centers to ensure all people affected by domestic abuse and violence in Maine are restored to safety and perpetrators are held accountable. MCEDV builds partnerships that promote public policy, education, and systems advocacy to create and encourage a social, political, and economic environment that fosters communities where the diversity, dignity, and contributions of all are respected and celebrated, and domestic abuse and violence no longer exist.

The Latisha's House Foundation has a unique place in our community. It provides a safe, residential home for young women who are victims of human sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
