The Elk Institute specializes in treating psychological trauma in the military population but is also equipped to address general psychological health issues. The Institute is a Tampa based organization established to provide education, consultation, and treatment to the military and veteran community, at no cost to the service member.

At The Crossroads reaches out to homeless youth and young adults at their point of need, and works with them to build healthy and fulfilling lives. By bringing our services directly onto the streets, we cultivate long-term, unconditional relationships with young people who would otherwise be disconnected from consistent support. PEI Kids’ mission is to promote and maintain a safe environment for all children. PEI Kids works with the child, family and caregiver to provide prevention, intervention and advocacy programs relating to personal safety, sexual abuse and the overall well-being of the child.

Susannah’s House, an alcohol and drug treatment program for mothers in recovery, is a faith-based organization that exists to serve the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of mothers and their children. In the highly structured program at Susannah's House, women engage in a gender-specific treatment specializing in alcohol and drug addiction. This treatment program focuses on issues which are pertinent to recovery and stabilization that include self-esteem and self-worth, empowerment, and positive lifestyles.

Rainbows for All Children supports all youth as they navigate grief and heal from loss, whether from death, divorce, deployment, or other trauma. Rainbows for All Children fosters awareness that youth require support to heal. We nurture a community of effective Rainbows-trained Facilitators, supported with a repository of resources designed to guide youth in their grieving process.

Action Wellness enhances the lives of individuals living with HIV and other serious chronic illnesses by providing holistic and trauma-informed health, prevention, and supportive services. The agency empowers those it serves to rise beyond the barriers of disease to achieve wellness and increased stability within the community.

NAMI Metro Suburban provides education, advocacy and support for those living with mental health conditions, their loved ones and their communities in the western suburbs of Cook County. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness

When hopeless people have a safe place to process their pain, and faith-filled hope is modeled and shared, they become hope-filled and thrive (in spite of their mental health challenge). A mental illness seems to rob you of your future hopes and dreams. And hopelessness begins to take over. The doctor, the therapist, and medicine are not enough in learning how to live life in spite of having a mental health challenge. And those with lived experience (peers) can model and empower one another. As peers, we believe there is hope, and it is possible to live well because we have been there. We guide and support those with a mental illness, along with their loved ones, to find hope that is based on research. That they and their loved ones might have hopes and dreams again, so they live a faith-filled, full, and vibrant life.

MEDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. MEDA's mission is to prevent the continuing spread of eating disorders through educational awareness and early detection. MEDA serves as a support network and resource for clients, loved ones, clinicians, educators, and the general public.
