Our goal is to help people live their final months as fully and peacefully as possible. High-quality healthcare is important at every stage of life and we consider it a privilege to walk alongside those who are facing terminal illness, coping with grief, or seeking to learn more about these profound experiences. Hospicare & Palliative Care Services, a community resource since 1983, provides hospice care for people of any age with any terminal diagnosis. Our palliative care service specializes in relief of pain, symptoms, and stress at any point in an illness. Additionally, our bereavement support services provide grief counseling and support groups to those who are grieving a loss. Our mission is to bring medical expertise and compassionate, respectful care to people and their loved ones at any stage of a life-threatening illness, and to provide information and education about advanced illness, dying, and bereavement to the entire community.

The Bristol Hospital Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to the financial support of Bristol Health through implementation and enhancement of hospital and affiliate-based development and community relations programs. The Fisher House Boston is a home away from home for our military families, where they can stay at no cost, while a loved one is receiving in house treatment at one of our medical facilities. In addition to the physical house on the VA West Roxbury Campus; the Fisher House of Boston houses military families in hotels if their loved one is receiving care at any of Boston’s world-renowned hospitals.

The World Health and Education Network (WHEN) is dedicated to helping improve education and healthcare throughout the world. WHEN started to raise funds for the charity Calcutta Rescue in Kolkata, India, but it has since expanded its support for a number of non-profit organizations. Their mission can be summed up in one question: WHEN will everyone have access to high-quality education and healthcare?

THE HEART INSTITUTE AT STATEN ISLAND UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL OPENED IN 2001 AND IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT TAX ORGANIZATION UNDER CODE SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE HEART INSTITUTE IS NOT ITSELF A DIRECT PROVIDER OF CLINICAL OR MEDICAL SERVICES, BUT OVERSEES THE ADMINISTRATIVE, FINANCIAL, AND OPERATIONAL ASPECTS OF THE CARDIAC SERVICES PROVIDED TO LOCAL AREA HOSPITALS THROUGH JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN RICHMOND UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER AND STATEN ISLAND UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.
