Since then, Win has evolved to become a leading, non-profit agency and the largest provider of shelter for homeless families in New York City. We serve close to 12,000 homeless women and their children each year. Win has sharpened its focus from offering shelter and support to homeless women and children, to providing comprehensive programs and services that enable homeless families to succeed in life and break the cycle of homelessness. This includes asking deeper questions to a physician or pharmacist, looking at the pros and cons of prescription drugs, and if appropriate, exploring other options. We empower our readers to learn about prescription drugs and become an engaged advocate in their own health and wellbeing.
THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTER OF NEW ENGLAND WILL BE TO ALLEVIATE THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL ANGUISH OF DRUG ADDICTION AS EXPERIENCED BY THE INDIVIDUAL, THE FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY BY USING ALL AVAILABLE MODALITIES INCLUDING PREVENTION, DRUG-FREE AND DRUG-SUPPORTED RECOVERY AS DEFINED BY THE TREATER AND THE TREATED.
