Hunter’s Hope Foundation was established to address the acute need for information and research with respect to Krabbe Disease and related Leukodystrophies. In addition, we strive to support and encourage those afflicted and their families as they struggle to endure, adjust and cope with the demands of these fatal illnesses. Accordingly, our mission is four-fold: • To broaden public awareness of Krabbe Disease & other Leukodystrophies thus increasing the probability of early detection &treatment.• To gather and provide current, functional information and service linkages to families of children with Leukodystrophies.• To fund research efforts that will identify new treatments, therapies and ultimately, a cure for Krabbe Disease and other Leukodystrophies.• To establish an alliance of hope that will nourish, affirm and confront the urgent need for medical, financial and emotional support of family members and those afflicted with Leukodystrophies.Among the essential goals, founders Jim and Jill Kelly, seek to inspire an appreciation of all children and express a thankful heart towards God for these precious gifts of life. Old Colony Hospice (OCH) has been providing the best in hospice care since 1979. The organization provides quality, compassionate health care to patients facing the advanced stages of life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses. OCH provides a comprehensive range of medical and psychosocial services. OCH is dedicated to ensuring all patients and their families are at peace, treated with respect and dignity and that comfort is maintained at all times. OCH is also committed to supporting families after their loss through bereavement outreach and organized program offerings.Old Colony Hospice also offers a comprehensive Palliative Care Program designed to provide consultation services to physicians and healthcare providers to manage pain and other troubling symptoms of patients with complex medical conditions. All of the programs are offered to patients regardless of their ability to pay for care. No patient has been denied care based on financial resources.

Life’s WORC offers comprehensive services and support to more than 2,000 people and families with intellectual disabilities and autism in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Our residential locations provide supportive homes to over 250 people throughout the noted communities including East Harlem. Additional programs for both families and people with developmental disabilities and autism include at-home support, skills development and behavioral intervention, social recreational programs, and vocational training opportunities. We also offer collaborative school linkage programs with both Long Island and NYC school districts supporting people and families in need of applied behavior analysis intervention.

Colorado Families for Hands & Voices is dedicated to supporting families with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing without a bias around communication modes or methodology. At Dentists on Wheels (DOW) our mission is to reach and treat patients with limited accessible oral healthcare service located in and around Contra Costa County. DOW works to promote health equity in our local community while simultaneously teaching proper oral health care practices.Volunteers, including dentists and assistants, work collectively to help underserved and uninsured individuals become free from dental health issues. DOW is proud to have a team of dedicated individual that help provide low to no cost, high-quality restorative and preventative dental care to uninsured and underserved individuals. At DOW, our ultimate mission is to address and rectify the issue of limited accessible oral healthcare services within our local community.
