Our organization focuses on the needs of people living with ALS in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent counties. We help provide information and equipment to meet the many challenges that ALS can present, and we support the research of Dr. Michael Strong and provide Studentship funding every year.
Young Adult Cancer Canada is a charitable organization dedicated to providing support to young adults (18-35) dealing with a cancer challenge as a patient or survivor. According to statistics, 7,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer every year in Canada; that's 19 per day! YACC provides five support initiatives for young adults with cancer: Retreat Yourself, cancer retreats for young adult patients and survivors, Survivor Conferences, the RealTime Cancer Online Community, We Get It - a survivor support resource video and the Touch Yourself, Trust Yourself public education program. All donations to Young Adult Cancer Canada support the organization's programs for young adults with cancer.

With our help, these children can grow to adulthood with greater awareness of the importance of proper management of their diabetes, greater confidence and self-esteem and the ability to live as healthy and productive adults. Empowering Youth in Transition to Persevere and Thrive Diabetes Hope Foundation provides financial assistance, encouragement and support at crucial points of transition in the lives of these children. Working closely with medical and health professionals specializing in youth and diabetes across Ontario, Diabetes Hope Foundation continues to respond to the changing needs of these youth by providing programs and support when and where they need it most. .
OASIS provides support group services to adults coping with severe vision loss. OASIS provides information and referral services and community education seminars to disseminate information about vision loss and coping techniques.
