The Haitian Orchestra Institute (HOI) is an advanced musical training platform that enables over 100 of Haiti’s most talented and dedicated musicians/teachers to receive intensive orchestral and instrumental training from Musicians of the Utah Symphony (MOTUS) and Utah Symphony Music Director Thierry Fischer. Begun in 2017, the program is entirely free to all Haitian participants, including travel, room, and board. In 2019, the HOI officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Hearts of Joy International provides life saving heart surgery for individuals with Down syndrome as well as offers resources, support and education to communities, orphanages, caregivers and parents on the inherent dignity and value of the child.

Hi 5 Youth Foundation, USA was founded in the USA to support the work of Hi 5 Youth Foundation, India and to assist in the scaling & expansion of its activities. Hi 5 Youth Foundation, India is a professionally run non-profit organization (Section 8 company in India est. July 2nd, 2015) that conducts FREE basketball coaching & life-skills training to underprivileged boys and girls. The MISSION of the organization is “Changing young lives through play” and we aim to do the same by  Providing underprivileged children (boys and girls) the means, opportunity, and coaching to develop into good basketball players, great teams and empowered youth.  Inculcate the pursuit of excellence through a high quality, multi-year, multi-level program that enables every child /team to experience success.

Mission: To provide a Christian home, family and education to the impoverished youth in our communities. Casa Estrella Foundation, was founded in 2006 hostessing over 150 orphans through out the years, from ages 3 to up 18 years old. In 2014 we opened the first Private Christian School, from pre-K to High School. We have 360 students, this school year we gave 90 scholarships to mothers with low income and struggling families that have been separated from parents. Our mission is eradicate child labor by motivating children to remain in school, and we offer financial support to over 300 students and families.We have Built computer labs, dug water wells, repaired school facilities, provided essential learning supplies/resources.

About Us: Our Bridgeport club was founded in 1992, and is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which was founded in 1921. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. A 501(c)(3) organization, Soroptimist relies on charitable contributions to fund its programs. Local members join with almost 100,000 Soroptimists in more than120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women. Soroptimist International has consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, which oversees U.N. activities promoting human rights. In addition to sponsoring the awards programs, our club has participated in community programs focused on various health and human service issues for women and girls, such as the Center for Women and Families, Mi Casa/My Home, Women and Men’s Health Project, Project Courage, and Local Soup Kitchens.
