Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. Since 1989, the program has served over one million people with cancer in the U.S. and more than 2 million people with cancer around the world with in-person workshops and millions more with digital resouces and now, live, virtual workshops. Free workshops, webinars and at-home programs offer lessons on skin and nail care, wigs and turbans, cosmetics, accessories, body image and personal styling - empowering cancer patients to regain confidence, connect with community , hope and compassion and to focus on becoming survivors and thrivers.

ASK is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1975 by a small group of parents whose children had cancer. They came together to provide mutual support, search for answers, and deal with the devastating news no parent ever wants to hear: “Your child has cancer.” With 1-2 children diagnosed per week in Central VA, your donation will be a great help to our small, local nonprofit dedicated to making life better for children with cancer. Your support will help to provide emotional, social, financial and educational care to children with cancer who are treated at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, the only treatment facility for childhood cancer in Central Virginia. ASK provides children, siblings, and caregivers with support from the moment of diagnosis through treatment to survivorship or bereavement.

The organization seeks to revolutionize the practice of medicine by identifying, optimizing, and implementing advances in the care and cure of globoid cell leukodystrophy, utilizing a multicenter network.

The mission of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation is to fund research to discover cures and more effective treatments for carcinoid, pancreatic, and related neuroendocrine cancers. To achieve rapid discovery of cures, the NET Research Foundation directs its donations to fund breakthrough scientific research of neuroendocrine cancers. Since its inception, the NET Research Foundation has awarded over $22 million in large-scale, multi-year research grants to leading scientists at renowned research institutions. To make all who are touched by invasive lobular breast cancer (also referred to as invasive lobular carcinoma or “ILC”) aware of its unique characteristics and the critical need for more ILC research; to be the go-to source for information on ILC studies, clinical trials and educational tools; to foster partnerships among patients, scientists, clinicians, and breast cancer organizations to increase dialogue about ILC and research advocacy; and to fund vital ILC research. We envision a world in which lobular breast cancer is found early, treated effectively, and eradicated permanently.

The Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (JCCF) was founded in 1945 by a group of volunteers dedicated to cancer research at UCLA. Their idea, using funds raised from private sources to invest in the work of promising young cancer researchers, resulted in the Seed Grant Program, which has helped the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC) break new ground in the quest to defeat cancer.
