The Beauty Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers families who are actively fighting cancer through direct monetary grants. Our mission is to ease the stressful financial strains associated with cancer and to allow patients and their families to focus on the most important thing - their journey through cancer. Grants can be used at the recipient's discretion for anything they may need during their treatment including housecleaning, groceries, transportation costs, etc. The beauty foundation also supports the development of educational materials and provides support to local cancer centers. Our goal is to help inspire the courage, strength and confidence needed to fight cancer.

Upstage Lung Cancer is a unique nonprofit that uses the performing arts to raise lung cancer awareness and fund early detection research. Our vision is to advocate for early detection in lung cancer. Our goal is to help increase lung cancer detection and diagnosis rates by 50% by 2025.

Sparsh Palliative Care Services has been providing Hospice and Palliative Care to Cancer patients in Hyderabad since 2011 and cared for over 5000 patients with life limiting illnesses. Cancer burden has been exploding exponentially in India (1.2 million new cases per year). Our patients depend on us for end of life care nursing and medical help; besides the warm care and comfort we provide to ensure that their final days are as comfortable as can be. Sparsh also provides ‘Home Care” at the patient’s door-step, to those who prefer the comfort of their homes. All services at Sparsh are free for the patients including medical care, food, medicines. Hope Hollow’s mission is to offer welcome, hospitality and hope by providing lodging, meals, transportation assistance and emotional support …at no cost…to cancer patients and their loved ones, who are financially in need, while receiving cancer treatment in Columbus, Ohio.

TO PROVIDE NURSING SERVICES AND ASThe Berrien County Cancer Service (BCCS) has had the honor of caring for Southwest Michigan's cancer patients since 1948. We are a unique skilled oncology nursing service that provides compassionate care for cancer patients and those with related illnesses in the comfort of their own home. We are able to do this at no cost because of the generosity of our community; we are "neighbors helping neighbors" in a time when local cancer patients need our special care. In addition to our nursing care services, we have an extensive loan closet of medical equipment and supplies that we offer at no cost including nutritional supplements, wound management supplies along with incontinence products. We have wigs, hats, turbans and can provide breast cancer patients special products they may need. We host an art program for children and families impacted by cancer to provide emotional support. A Just Harvest’s mission is to fight poverty and hunger in the Rogers Park and greater Chicago community by providing nutritious meals daily while cultivating community and economic development and organizing across racial, cultural and socioeconomic lines in order to create a more just society.

Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. Since 1989, the program has served over one million people with cancer in the U.S. and more than 2 million people with cancer around the world with in-person workshops and millions more with digital resouces and now, live, virtual workshops. Free workshops, webinars and at-home programs offer lessons on skin and nail care, wigs and turbans, cosmetics, accessories, body image and personal styling - empowering cancer patients to regain confidence, connect with community , hope and compassion and to focus on becoming survivors and thrivers.

Zcharia came to Kansas City in 2005. He soon became involved with the Kerala Association of Kansas City and became the sports coordinator. He became an active member of the volleyball community in Kansas City, participating in their Friday practices, local tournaments, and even the famous Jimmy George Volleyball Tournament held in New York. More than playing, he enjoyed connecting with people and introduced many people to volleyball. In 2010, he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. This put a damper on his ability to play the game he enjoyed. But soon after his first treatment of chemotherapy, he started playing volleyball with his friends again. This ended soon towards the middle of 2013 as his disease got worse. On December 21st, 2013, Zcharia Jose passed away.
