Liam's Room is a NJ based not for profit founded in 2007 by Peter and Lisa McNamara after the passing of their son Liam. Liam's Room promotes the necessity of pediatric palliative care as an integral part of the care plan for children who are facing a potentially life limiting condition. Liam's Room does this by redesigning inpatient pediatric rooms to be a more home like environment as well as funding the education of clinicians in pediatric palliative care.

Second, our long-term goal is to facilitate the provision of compassionate, professional medical care to those who cannot afford it.
