Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) because they cause severe inflammation of the intestinal tract, and have common symptoms. The cause remains unknown, and there is no medical cure. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America was founded in 1967. Its mission is to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and was named one of "America's 100 Best Charities" by Worth magazine. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org) in partnership with more than 1,100 local rape crisis centers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. Established in 2005, The GEANCO Foundation saves and transforms lives in Africa. We conduct complex surgical missions and run an innovative program to fight anemia in Nigeria. Rebuilding Together is a national housing organization that envisions a safe and healthy home for every person. Together with over one hundred affiliates throughout the country, we provide critical home repairs for low-income families at no cost, including seniors, veterans, families with young children and neighbors recovering from disasters. Over the past 30 years, we have successfully: engaged 3.99 million volunteers who have completed 191,955 repairs and rehabs for homes, nonprofit facilities and community spaces, which have collectively served over 5.7 million community members totaling a $1.86 billion reinvestment in communities across the country since our inception.
