Since 1989, the program has served over one million people with cancer in the U.S. and more than 2 million people with cancer around the world with in-person workshops and millions more with digital resouces and now, live, virtual workshops. Free workshops, webinars and at-home programs offer lessons on skin and nail care, wigs and turbans, cosmetics, accessories, body image and personal styling - empowering cancer patients to regain confidence, connect with community , hope and compassion and to focus on becoming survivors and thrivers.
CLRA supports research efforts towards finding the causes and a cure for leukemia and assists families in meeting the financial obligations incurred in treatment. We strive to be at the forefront of funding medical expenses for families affected by blood cancers and supporting groundbreaking hospital research, ultimately leading to enhanced treatments and a cure.
