Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s (CRK) mission is to advocate and secure the protection and stewardship of the Chattahoochee River, including its lakes, tributaries and watershed, in order to restore and conserve their ecological health for the people and wildlife that depend on the river system.

To honor the relationship between people and land by protecting irreplaceable lowcountry lands including working farms and forests, scenic vistas, relatively natural habitats and historic landscapes using both established and innovative conservation approaches.

Our mission is to make renewable energy technology and job training accessible to underserved communities. We bring together community partners, volunteers, and job trainees to implement solar power and energy efficiency for low-income families, providing energy cost savings, valuable hands-on experience, and a source of clean, local energy that benefits us all.

Founded in 1988, our mission is to restore and protect the Cahaba River Watershed and its rich diversity of life. We impact our central Alabama watershed, the Birmingham metro area, and policy at the state, regional, and national level.

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy protects and restores exceptional places to provide our region with clean waters and healthy forests, wildlife and natural areas for the benefit of present and future generations. The Conservancy creates green spaces and gardens, contributing to the vitality of our cities and towns, and preserves Fallingwater, a symbol of people living in harmony with nature. Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities, has recognized the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy as one of the top ten charities in the nation! Over the last decade, we have consistently received exceptional Charity Navigator ratings for financial health, accountability and transparency.

We are citizen stewards of the James River Park.  We do this by providing ongoing support for conservation, enhancement, and recreational enjoyment of the James River Park System, while protecting its natural and historic environments.

As the national voice for hikers, American Hiking Society helps preserve and protect the hiking trails and natural areas that hikers cherish and seek for exploration, exercise and education.

Harpeth Conservancy is a science-based conservation organization whose mission is to restore and protect clean water and healthy ecosystems for rivers in Tennessee. Our rivers, including the Harpeth, are part of the unique river systems of the Southeast, which contain some of the greatest variety of aquatic life in the world. Harpeth Conservancy protects these vital resources by employing scientific expertise and collaborative relationships to develop, promote and support broad community stewardship and action.

At Baltimore Tree Trust, we work to restore our city’s urban forests—green spaces and corridors that provide clean air, encourage community engagement, and nourish an appreciation for Baltimore’s environmental longevity. We plant and care for our city’s trees because of their lasting positive effects on neighborhoods citywide.

THE NATURE FOUNDATION AT WINTERGREEN EXISTS TO ENCOURAGE THE UNDERSTANDING, APPRECIATION AND CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES OF THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA. THE FOUNDATION WILL FUNCTION AS A RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FACILTY FOR ITS MEMBERS AND VISITORS.

Founded by world-renowned conservationist Lawrence Anthony in 2003, our mission is to reverse the decline of the natural world, upon which all life depends for its survival.  Through education and the implementation of effective solutions, we help people increase their understanding that none of us survive alone - that all life does best when it works together with other life. This better connects everyone with the natural world, resulting in more constructive problem solving. As industry, governments, communities and individuals adopt this way of thinking and working, the world is better protected and restored.

The mission of Acate is to preserve the Amazon Rainforest in partnership with its indigenous protectors. Real on the ground capacity-building underlies all of our initiatives whether it be indigenous medicine, permaculture, or sustainable commerce.
