Native Conservancy works with Alaska Native communities to preserve, repatriate, and restore ancestral lands, coastal habitats, and traditional food systems. The organization secures land in conservation trusts, supports Indigenous stewardship and food sovereignty, and develops regenerative mariculture (e.g., kelp) and habitat-restoration programs that combine Indigenous knowledge with science.

For over two decades, SkyTruth has been a vigilant watchdog, leveraging satellite imagery and artificial intelligence to uncover and address pressing environmental challenges that would otherwise remain hidden from public view. From exposing the hidden consequences of hydraulic fracturing and hard rock mining to revealing the true scale of oil spills in the ocean, SkyTruth’s work has consistently driven accountability and change. Their primary goal is to equip scientists, advocates, decision-makers, journalists, and communities with powerful tools and data-driven insights for informed decision-making. Through partnerships with these stakeholders, SkyTruth amplifies collective impact, drives conservation action, and turbocharges advocacy for policies that promote environmental stewardship and sustainability on a global scale. In the face of existential threats such as biodiversity loss and climate change, SkyTruth is accelerating environmental progress by producing impactful visuals, comprehensive datasets, and insightful analyses, all freely accessible to the public.

Mission: We are committed to a culture of responsibility and dignity and to leading our local community in the fight against hunger by efficiently providing access to food and nutritious meals. Feeding San Diego builds local and national partnerships with purpose. Founded in 2007 by the wildfires in San Diego, Feeding San Diego is now the leading hunger-relief organization in the county, distributing healthy food with dignity to San Diego residents struggling with hunger. Our non-profit organization, funded by philanthropic and community support, is devoted to feeding the hungry, advocacy and education. FSD is committed to solving hunger in our communities and informing the public on the issues of food insecurity, nutrition and poverty. We fight hunger locally by working hand-in-hand with partner agencies, local school districts, corporate partners and a network of volunteers to serve 63,000 children, families and seniors in need each week. This past year, we provided over 25 million meals to San Diegans struggling with food insecurity - an 18 percent increase from the previous year, which indicates that more families in need are seeking our services than ever before. Each year, Feeding San Diego is working to move more food into the community in order to close the meal gap. Feeding San Diego takes a holistic approach to solving hunger and food-related issues in our community. We fight hunger locally by working hand-in-hand with 150 agency partners (food pantries, soup kitchens, healthcare centers and other community resources) and through direct service programs in areas central to clients' lives (School Pantries, Mobile Pantry sites, senior centers, USO sites) to provide healthy food with dignity to 63,000 children, families and seniors in need each week. Our unique distribution model, which leverages both national and local partnerships, ensures that we are not simply banking food - we are Feeding San Diego. In addition to our food-service programs, Feeding San Diego acts as an advocate at the local and state level to protect government hunger-relief services like CalFresh. CalFresh is an assistance program crucial to helping low-income, food-insecure families stretch their grocery budgets, freeing limited resources for use on other household essentials. Feeding San Diego holds numerous outreach events designed to help clients determine their CalFresh eligibility and apply to the program.

New Directions believes that people who have disabilities deserve the same opportunities in life that others expect and enjoy. Our profoundly enriching travel programs expand the self-esteem of every traveler. Whole new worlds of understanding open for both participants and the general population. ESI uses less than 2% of its budget for management and operations. The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. The Ocean Cleanup has three core approaches to tackling plastic pollution: 1) Clean legacy ocean plastic - Since 2018, The Ocean Cleanup has deployed technologies to remove plastic that has accumulated in ocean garbage patches. It's current system (System 002) has removed more than 225,000 kg of plastic from The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. 2) Turn off the tap: The Ocean Cleanup also develops and deploys Interceptor technologies that prevent plastic from reaching the oceans via rivers, focusing on 1000 rivers that are responsible for 80% of riverine plastic pollution. To date, 19 Interceptor solutions have been deployed across 8 countries. 3) Research: In the process of understanding the problem, The Ocean Cleanup has become a global leader in field research on marine plastic pollution.
