We transform schools and change lives by bringing our educational approach to NYC’s young people and their public schools, with a focus on students from educationally underserved communities. Our uniquely powerful approach joins together demanding and engaging learning with an emphasis on community and character. We prepare students for success in college, careers, and citizenship, while simultaneously working to redefine what educational excellence looks like in New York City’s public schools. Every day, we are proving that all students, regardless of background or circumstance, are capable of achieving at high levels and that transformation and innovation can happen within the public school system.

Rocking the Boat empowers young people challenged by severe economic, educational, and social conditions to develop the self-confidence to set ambitious goals and gain the skills necessary to achieve them.  Students work together to build wooden boats, learn to row and sail, and restore local urban waterways, revitalizing their community while creating better lives for themselves. Kids don’t just build boats at Rocking the Boat, boats build kids.

Kentucky Coalition, alongside our sister organization Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, is a community of people inspired by a vision of a thriving society where people are free from oppression and where racial, economic and environmental justice exists for all. Guided by Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and others directly impacted by oppression, Kentucky Coalition and KFTC organizes Kentuckians to dismantle racism, strengthen democracy, and transform the future of our Commonwealth.

TreeFolks empowers Central Texans to build stronger communities by planting and caring for trees.

Recover, restore and protect the lower Malibu Creek watershed and historical wetland in the heart of Malibu. Educate the general public about the wetland and riparian ecosystem, promote and restore clean and safe water for purposes of recreation, habitat and food sources.

We are a non profit group that whom's mission is to enhance the lives of pets and their owners. Our biggest goal is to have a dog park built in our city to allow for pets to have a place to train, play, and spend family time.

SaveNature.Org’s mission is to link people to save wildlife and wild places through the purchase and protection of habitat in nature. SaveNature’s goal is to bring educational equality to those underserved in our community increasing the opportunity for real and personal environmental stewardship for this generation and future generations. Our educational outreach programs provide a pathway for children to wonder and develop an anchor of belonging to their natural environment. Ultimately building a foundation to ensure youth take responsibility for creating a positive change in their lives, in their community, and, in the world.

We provide job training, classes, and recreation opportunities for some of the Bay Area's most at-risk youth. We also offer services to the community including a bicycle shop and repair facility, a full service wooden boat building shop, and Berkeley's only youth-run coffee shop.

The Homeless Garden Project provides job training, transitional employment and support services to people who are homeless. HGP's vibrant education and volunteer program for the broad community blends formal, experiential and service-learning. The programs take place in our 3-acre organic farm and related enterprises.
