The mission of Global Human Services (GHS) is to solve societal problems locally and globally in the fields of healthy living and environments, education, business, and social services.

To connect volunteers from different nationalities to work together on responsible volunteer placements that support both the development of the local communities and the personal development of the volunteers. Moreover, by creating positive volunteering experiences we aim to popularise volunteering in Romanian society and thus support the growth of an active and civil society.

Fundacion Via Cocina is a community based project focused on improving the health and economic development of vulnerable women, youth and underprivileged in Medellin Colombia. With a personalized training and mentoring system sharing healthy food recipes, cooking techniques and applied financial planning and entrepreneurial small business fundamentals, we build a program for individuals and families based on their current reality, applying the training to objectives created with them, for them, in their own home. Additionally, we provide classes to individuals and groups who want to learn to cook healthy dishes with local ingredients for their families, transforming them into uncommon flavors that are low in fat, oil, salt and sugar-free. These activities look to decrease frequency and severity of non-communicable diseases in the communities, including obesity, diabetes and cholesterol.

Indigenous Health Solutions is a trans-disciplinary collective of pioneers driven by a passion for service to the Earth, and the poorest and most remote communities on it. Through the lens of planetary health, where shifts in natural systems are prioritized in examination of human health, experts in conservation, health, anthropology, and business come together with those in need to craft and implement culturally informed and community led solutions for development. Our programs are built upon the foundational principle that development must be indigenous, that is, planned in partnership with those in need and rooted in the place of delivery, reflecting practical awareness of the interconnection between health, conservation, livelihood, and education.

CameroonONE is the first organization in Cameroon placing orphaned children in the household of surviving relatives while ensuring that they receive an education and proper healthcare within a secure family environment in order to bring hope and opportunity to a large population of the country's orphans.

Our mission is to help low-income Haitian individuals, families and communities to help themselves so that they can attain and maintain self-sufficiency and dignity. Fundacion Nativo is a non-profit organization, located in Caracas (Venezuela), which is dedicated to the socioeconomic and sustainable development of indigenous communities, without having to damage their environment or abandon their cultural or religious beliefs. Always favoring gender equality and integration of different sexual options. Vision: A world in which there is no inequality between the indigenous population and the rest of society. Where the native population is not considered as animals, pets or the disposable object of the fashion of the moment. Mission: Empower indigenous communities by promoting the conservation of their culture, defending the right to land and the preservation of their natural resources, promoting sustainable economic development in gender equality and sexual orientation, favoring access to communication channels to leave the information isolation and giving them a voice before the institutions to demand their rights and denounce the abuses to which they are subjects of. Our history: In 2014, investigating for a documentary, we made a stop in the mining area of Las Claritas. There we went to a brothel where a bingo was being held. The place was full of miners attentive to the draw, something that surprised us because bingo always seemed an activity for older people ... Until we saw the prize ... depending on the sexual orientation of the miner, the prize was a child or Indigenous girl no older than 10 years old, who waited to meet the owner of their destination inside a hole dug in the floor of the premises. When you see something like this with your own eyes, it is impossible to remain indifferent to the problem. We realized that, in this market of basic instincts, we could do little to diminish the demand (the illegal miners come from many countries and for them the Indians are less than animals), but we could have some possibility of diminishing the offer if we helped the development of indigenous communities. And that's how the Fundacion Nativa was born.

Friends of Crowell Hilaka (aka FoCH. pronounced "folk" ) is a nonprofit advocacy group partnering with the Richfield Joint Recreation District to preserve, protect, enhance, and promote Richfield Heritage Preserve, formerly Girl Scout Camp Crowell Hilaka.

The mission of this organization is to educate motivated native Sub-Saharan Africans living in or near African National Parks who are interested in bettering their surrounding environment in a way that will contribute to (or at least not adversely impact) the conservation efforts of the National Park and/or wildlife-related research. This organization may also choose to help educate Africans not living in or near African National Parks, but those who want to study wildlife or conservation-related topics in African National Parks.

There is a movement in cities across the world to reclaim underutilized infrastructure and reimagine it as public space. The High Line Network is a group of infrastructure reuse projects—and the people who are helping them come to life. As cities become denser and land for traditional parks becomes scarce, citizens are finding creative ways to bring greenspace to their neighborhoods. Projects in the High Line Network transform underutilized infrastructure into new urban landscapes. Redefining what a park can be, these hybrid spaces are also public squares, open-air museums, botanical gardens, social service organizations, walkways, transit corridors, and more. Infrastructure reuse projects can bring tremendous social, environmental, and economic benefits to our cities. We want these benefits to reach as many people as possible, especially longtime residents of neighboring communities. Together, the network is exploring how to make these projects truly equitable public spaces.

The Get Growing Foundation is a 501c3 creating gardens, educational programming and year-round outreach to the public, with a particular focus on today's youth. In collaboration with the Chicago Flower & Garden Show®, GGF raises awareness and funding for hands-on programs specifically designed to cultivate understanding and provide practical advice in the areas of horticulture, gardening and conservation. The Get Growing Foundation is the educational programming and outreach partner of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show® and leads the way in creating gardens, workshops, seminars and year-round programming that not only educates, but inspires and motivates the next generation of gardeners. Gardening connects us to our world, from our food to our neighbors to our planet as a whole. We’re here to help foster that connection and encourage people of all ages to be a part of Chicago’s thriving horticultural legacy.
