Scouting has an important role in the lives of today’s youth. Scouting promotes the importance of values such as integrity, honesty, responsibility, patriotism, courtesy, perseverance, cooperation, tolerance, teamwork, leadership and respect for community, nature and spirituality. In the 2008-2009 Scouting year, for the first time in a quarter of a century, membership in Scouting across Canada has increased. We are working hard so that more youth have the opportunity to benefit from a Scouting experience. As the organization grows, more and more youth in need of financial assistance are identified.

WE ADVANCE OUR MISSION BY BEING A STRONG AND INDEPENDENT VOICE FOR THE BAY THROUGHOUT THE WATERSHED, INCLUDING ALL OF OCEAN AND PART OF MONMOUTH COUNTIES. WE DO THIS THROUGH EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND TARGETED ADVOCACY CAMPAIGNS THAT ENGAGE OUR SUPPORTERS WHO CHERISH THE BAY AS A NATURAL, RECREATIONAL, AND ECONOMICAL RESOURCE FOR THE COMMUNITY AND ALL OF NEW JERSEY. Chikaming Open Lands is a local land conservancy that protects and restores native habitats and water quality in southwest Berrien County, Michigan. It permanently preserves ecologically important forests, prairies, wetlands, farmland and other open spaces through land acquisition and conservation easements while managing nature preserves and stewardship programs for public benefit.

The Conservancy works to restore and maintain Walker Lake by increasing Walker River flows and conserving watershed and riparian lands; it acquires water rights and manages land stewardship, native plant restoration, and public access to protect agricultural, environmental, and recreational values in the Walker Basin.

Team River Runner provides free adaptive paddling and outdoor programs so veterans, active duty service members, and their families can find physical and emotional healing, community, and purpose through paddling/adventure activities. Growing Gardens is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of our community through sustainable urban agriculture. Over the last 20 years, we've brought gardening, nutrition education and produce donations to over 136,000 Boulder County residents.We offer a variety of programs to get people of all ages, backgrounds, income levels, and abilities involved in growing and cooking their own food. These educational opportunities are paired with seed, plant start, and produce donations, as well as gardening space, to impart greater food security and hunger relief in our community
