The San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF) is a non-profit fundraising organization that helps the San Carlos School District provide a well-rounded public education for all students. We work in partnership with parents and the community to support core and innovative programs that are vital to an exceptional education.

Their mission is to provide quality education and childcare that follows the philosophy and training of Maria Montessori and Association Montessori Internationale. Their program is holistic: nurturing and developing the mind, body, and spirit of each child. They are committed to providing trained staff and certified teachers, working with families to foster independence in their child and meet each child’s individual needs, and operating in an ecologically conscious way.

MONTESSORI SCHOOL TO CARE FOR AND EDUCATE CHILDREN AGES 2 1/2 TO 7 YEARS OLD. THE MONTESSORI SCHOOL PROVIDED CARE AND EDUCATION FOR 58 STUDENTS DURING THE TAX YEAR IN AN AFFORDABLE COMMUNITY SETTING.

MWPCCC is a community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to create, manage, and sustain developmentally appropriate, high quality, available, culturally-sensitive pre-school, childcare, and family support services. We support families with young children and infants. We prepare children for kindergarten and a lifetime of learning by offering them an emergent curriculum, nurturing staff, and a commitment to children's social well-being in an environment that respects and celebrates diversity. Our target population is an economically and ethnically diverse group of children. We are committed to serving as many low-income/subsidized children as possible, and in fact, often we have absorbed those costs in order to make sure that that we do not turn families for lack of funds.

The Big Barn Preschool provides a loving and nurturing learning environment that enhances intellectual, social, physical, emotional and spiritual growth. Children, who are special gifts from God, are to be loved, respected, and offered challenges that foster interactive learning. Their goal is to collaborate with parents to help develop their child’s sense of independence and a positive self-image.
