Recognizes its roots We acknowledge that we are building on the vision established by our founding parents. Celebrates its diversity We are enriched by our cultural and denominational diversity. Christ-centred learning Every subject is taught from this perspective: Our world belongs to God. It has fallen into sin, and is being renewed and restored through Christ. Teach discernment Our aim is to engage culture – not flee from it – in the confidence that God is in control. Nurture and equip students We teach a wide range of content, develop a variety of skills, and celebrate God-given gifts. A life of responsive discipleship We encourage students to understand God’s truth with their minds, believe God’s truth with their hearts, and do God’s truth with their total beings.

Ross Farm Museum is a window into the past of Nova Scotia’s rich agricultural history with many things to see and do that the whole family will enjoy. Established in 1969, The Ross Farm Museum is located on highway #12 in New Ross, Nova Scotia, just 15 minutes from the Lighthouse route, or 25 minutes from the Gloosecap trail. Our Museum is a living, working, farm museum depicting 150 years of agriculture in Nova Scotia. We are a single family upland farm on land originally granted to Captain William Ross. Ross Farm Museum is still being farmed with Oxen, the way it was in the late 1800s. In Rosebank Cottage, the original home of the Ross family built in 1817, you may see food being prepared over an open fire, straw hats being woven, wool or flax being spun, butter being churned, or many other skills being demonstrated that were daily chores for our forefathers, but are now almost lost.
NON-PARTISAN: We seek to work cooperatively with all levels of government and with all political parties to ensure that the environmental needs of current and future generations are addressed. RESULTS-ORIENTED: We choose issues and engage in activities when we judge that we may reasonably expect tangible results that improve the environment from our participation. FOCUSED: We undertake activities that are fundamentally directed at supporting and enabling policy change. EVIDENCE-BASED: We are led by science, basing our positions upon sound research and objective analysis, rather than ideological labels. LEARNING: We build our knowledge and capacity by constantly testing our assumptions and validating our impact by surveying our colleagues, by consulting experts and by maintaining an open mind when engaging stakeholders. INNOVATIVE: We always seek new and effective means of achieving our mission, adapting our approach to advocacy as issues emerge and the market evolves.
