Latino Literacy Now is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in North San Diego County. The mission of the organization is to promote literacy in the community in all forms: reading, educational, financial, health, and community awareness. We strive to achieve this through partnerships with appropriate other organizations as well as with our own programs. To date, over one million people have been involved in some way with the organization’s programs which are divided among two main program areas: Author Programs, and Education and Literacy Programs.

Our mission is to develop powerful, selfless, fearless leaders who can thrive in these disruptive times and be a force for positive change. It's time. Never has the need for more awakened leadership been greater or more obvious. For leaders facing into all this change, never have they needed the embodied resilience and non-dual wisdom of Zen leadership more. Our training goes to the bones, transforming leaders from inside out, that they can sense and serve the whole picture from their authentic self. That’s Big.

Desire Street Ministries helps leaders stay on the field, where they reach kids and families living in under-served neighborhoods. Most leaders in these areas burn out in 5 years, so we come alongside to help them not only survive but thrive for the long run needed to see revitalization. Our mission is to love our neighbor by revitalizing under-resourced neighborhoods through spiritual and community development.
