Each country, however, sends their team separately, and their rescue efforts are often conducted independently of each other. It is true that each country is trying to do its best in rescuing disaster victims. Yet, if we could reach a pre-agreement, not merely among nations but also between different sectors, to act together to fight any future disaster... We would be able to deliver even more efficient and effective disaster aid to even more people, in even less time.

Marshall Relief Alliance is a community-led disaster relief and recovery nonprofit that coordinates immediate aid (meals, supplies, intake) and longer-term rebuilding support for residents affected by Hurricane Helene and other local disasters. The group focuses on uniting local volunteers, donations, and resources to help households and small businesses recover and rebuild.

In recovery efforts, we help clear debris and restore vital infrastructure. We work closely with emergency services, government, and nonprofit partners to ensure a coordinated response. Our volunteers receive hands-on training tailored to real-world disaster scenarios, ensuring they are safe, confident, and ready to serve.

Our mission is to, through relationship with the local Church in Africa, challenge, encourage, develop and support the ministry of servanthood among those in need in their community through the replication of the Hands at Work community intervention model.We believe the biblical mandate to care for the dying, widows and orphans is not only for the Church in Africa, but also elsewhere, and Hands at Work will be a prophetic voice to the Churches outside Africa, challenging them to fulfill their mandate.

Using environmental awareness, writing, and the use of media tools that allow youth to document their outdoor experience to build confidence and facilitate individual discovery.
