Shirzanan works to expand access to sport for Muslim women and girls worldwide. We use sports and media to catalyze discussion and advancements in women's rights and gender equality. We produce and disseminate stories - particularly to populations whose governments limit free information and women's rights. Shirzanan is the Persian word for "female heroes" and an apt description of the Muslim female athletes who triumph over cultural, social and religious barriers to excel at sport. We promote them as role models who speak out and stand up against discrimination. To shape a positive narrative around Muslim females and counter stereotypes exacerbated by mainstream media, we train female journalists to cover female athletes and train female athletes as role models and advocates. We uphold the Olympic Charter's statement that "The practice of sport is a human right." Everyone deserves access to sport and its consequent health, academic, economic, social and gender equality.

Their mission is to strengthen the fabric of community life by providing communication tools, training, and opportunities for individuals, nonprofit groups, governments, and educational institutions. The Station’s Management will strive to encourage and facilitate the fullest possible participation in the production and distribution of quality television programming by and for the Oxford Hills community.

Their mission is to promote violence-free living by improving the quality of life for individuals on local, national and international levels by sharing and disseminating vital information, improving cross-discipline collaborations, conducting research and trainings, and providing direct professional services, program evaluation, and consulting.

Our mission at Chance for Success, Street Newspaper is for the homeless and marginalized individuals of Tucson to have an opportunity to succeed through self-determined employment, by selling the newspaper for an income. Chance for Success, Street Newspaper will be collaborating with local schools to give internships to students in order to gain the experience needed for employment, by creating the newspaper, while working with various individuals and the community; to bring awareness, empowerment and advocacy for those benefiting from the program.

America Abroad Media empowers and supports local voices that convey universal values through creative content and media programming.

We are charged to ignite change through the lens of storytelling & uplifting the stories of people of color and women to ensure their diverse perspectives have a platform to entertain & educate all audiences.

The mission of The Global Food and Drink Initiative is to share, connect and preserve the history and culture of the African diaspora through food, drink and travel. We share powerful narratives and amplify Black voices (past and present) who have been underrepresented, overlooked, ignored or erased from historical and current-day conversations about food and drink.

DYV teaches youth ages 3-18 to play violin and viola using the world-class Suzuki method through weekly private and group lessons on Woodward Ave in downtown Detroit's arts district. The Suzuki approach nurtures students' ability to persevere, be creative, embrace hope, and to collaborate and empathize with others.
