The Philadelphia Museum of Art, in partnership with the city, the region, and art museums around the globe, seeks to preserve, enhance, interpret, and extend the reach of its great collections in particular, and the visual arts in general, to an increasing and increasingly diverse audience as a source of delight, illumination and lifelong learning.

THE MUSEUM'S COLLECTION EMPHASIZES THE MID ATLANTIC REGION'S UNIQUE CONTRIBUTION TO FLIGHT, BUT IS BROAD ENOUGH TO CHRONICLE A GENERAL HISTORY OF AVIATION, INCLUDING MILATARY AVIATION. THE MUSEUM'S COLLECTIONS ARE CARED FOR ACCORDING TO ESTABLISHED MUSEUM PRACTICES. HISTORICALLY ACCURATE AIRCRAFT RESTORATION AND LIMITED DEMONSTRATION FLYING ARE SPECIAL MISSIONS UNDERTAKEN BY THE MUSEUM.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit philanthropic, educational organization that operates in partnership with the National Park Service to preserve Gettysburg National Military Park and the Eisenhower National Historic Site and to educate the public about their significance.

The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, on Independence Mall in Philadelphia, presents educational programs and experiences that preserve, explore and celebrate the history of Jews in America. THE LIBRARY SERVES AS A CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FACILITY, MUSEUM, ART GALLERY, AND READING ROOM. IT SUPPORTS LANGUAGE AND VISUAL ARTS EDUCATION THROUGH PROGRAMS AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES WITH OTHER LOCAL ARTS ORGANIZATIONS TO FOSTER A STRONG ARTS NETWORK FOR BOTH THE LOCAL AND NATIONAL COMMUNITY
