3Generations is a storytelling organization. We support those who have suffered crimes against humanity by enabling them to share their stories. Told in their own words, survivors’ stories cross borders, conflicts and generations. We believe storytelling fosters the healing process and illuminates our common humanity. Hearing survivors’ stories allows people everywhere to better understand the violence and oppression in the world today and demand change. We utilize available technology and distribution channels to collect and share survivors’ stories.

The Brooklyn Youth Music Project is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to extending the reach of musical training to all young musicians ages 5 to 18 in the Brooklyn community and beyond, to supporting the development of lifelong learners and to contributing to a culture of youth musicianship that meets the highest standards of excellence. We are a stand-alone youth organization, not affiliated with a professional orchestra. We are the only program in Brooklyn to offer three levels in orchestra and two levels of Jazz ensemble. These different programs for different skill levels, coupled with our low tuition and need-based scholarships, allow us to include a great diversity of young musicians. Such a range allows students to develop their individual skills as performers as well as their sensitivity and responsiveness as collaborators. This in turn fosters the growth of the ensemble as a whole. BYMP has rapidly grown from a 25-member string orchestra to a multi-tiered program reaching over 200 children annually, largely from public schools. This vigorous growth attests to a need in the Brooklyn youth music community that we are proud to fill.

Our holistic approach addresses the root causes of mental health stigma, reduces suicide rates, and improves overall health outcomes. We believe in treating mental health as a spectrum, focusing on wellness, prevention, and recovery in addition to illness. By recognizing the connection between mental and physical well-being, we strive to eliminate barriers to care and advocate for better environmental conditions. Through innovative programs promoting health literacy, equity, positive youth development, and self-care, we are creating a culture of support and healing. WHAT WE DO Mental Health Literacy STS signature programs include Community Conversations, Self-Care Socials, Mental Wellness Seminars, and evidence-based training like Mental Health First Aid, Question Persuade & Refer, and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means. to eliminate mental health stigma, practice healthy coping strategies, and access behavioral health resource. We utilize media platforms, including podcasts and social media content to further expand mental health education. Positive Youth Development STS Youth Mental Wellness COPE Clinic & Silence the Shame University (STSU) offers workshops, self-care activities, and discussions for youth and young adults to learn about mental health, crisis signs, and coping skills. We support the Youth Advisory Council and Ambassador to build youth leaders and amplify their voices. Caregivers attend a Parent Café to raise resilient teens. STSU engages college students in prioritizing their well-being and supporting their peers in accessing behavioral health resources. Community Outreach & Engagement We promote the implementation of mental health awareness strategies, self-care activities, and community outreach to support vulnerable populations at-risk of behavioral health challenges. We promote whole health and mental wellness all while combatting discrimination and the shame associated with mental illness.

Our work spans the globe as we assist law enforcement in rescue efforts and help provide aftercare to all those affected. While we prioritize children, we work to empower the liberation of anyone suffering at the hands of those looking to sexually exploit. We offer vital resources to authorities around the world and work tirelessly to raise awareness and meet survivors on their healing journey. Our resolve never falters, and we will boldly persevere until those in need are safe.

At the Children's Cancer Association (CCA) we believe all kids deserve long, wonderful lives. Or at the very least, short, wonderful lives. That’s why our programs leverage music, nature, friendship, and resources to create transformative moments of joy for families facing cancer and other serious illnesses.
