Project Rhythm is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to using music as an instrument for youth empowerment by engaging youth from underserved communities in hands on music production, performance and music education.
Founded in 2004, Bach With Verse brings hope, inspiration and laughter through music and stories to war-torn and remote areas, and prison populations. To fulfill this mission, BWV presents double bassist Richard “Dobbs” Hartshorne in outreach concerts for all ages in schools, orphanages, prisons, refugee camps, rehabilitation and community centers throughout the world. Performances are crafted with a unique blend of classical music and humorous musical stories that are easily accessible to diverse audiences. BWV programs have reached West Bank Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, South Africa, Bolivia, Uganda and prisons throughout the United States.
