The African Lion and Environmental Research Trust (ALERT) is dedicated to a multi-disciplinary approach for the facilitation and promotion of sound conservation and management plans for the African lion (Panthera leo) and the ecosystems on which the species relies. Through responsible development we aim to realize the species’ potential to provide substantial social, cultural, ecological and economic benefits, that are distributed equitably amongst stakeholders to promote sustainable motivation in them for the protection of Africa’s natural heritage.
Their mission is to provide aid and sanctuary to abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered horses that come to them. They work with law enforcement and other agencies in their efforts to rectify situations in which horses are in peril, and provide horses in their Sanctuary with needed medical care and proper nutrition. They continue educational and fundraising efforts to both help them support their rescue efforts and to promote awareness of issues involving neglect and abuse in the area.
Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides the opportunity to better the lives of ex-racing and rescued greyhounds by finding them loving and qualified forever homes in the Southern Arizona area.
The Great Plains Foundation is a US 501(c)3 organization with a mission is to conserve and expand natural habitats in Africa through innovative conservation initiatives with a long-term commitment to the environment, wildlife, and local communities. The Foundation works in parallel with the conservation-tourism parent company, Great Plains Conservation, to realize this mission through conservation education programs, community initiatives, and wildlife and environmental stewardship in Botswana, Kenya, and Zimbabwe
They are dedicated to helping fund new beehives, teaching Children about the importance of agriculture and bees as well as funding further research into what is causing the extinction of bees.
