The mission of the National Wildlife Federation is to inspire Americans to protect wildlife in a rapidly changing world.

PHS/SPCA is a private, independent, non-profit, and our scope of services goes beyond that of a so-called no-kill, or limited admission, facility. As an open-door shelter, PHS/SPCA accepts all animals brought to us, regardless of age, breed or size, and we’ve rehomed 100% of the healthy dogs and cats in our care since 2003 and promise to do this going forward. While rewarding, this isn’t our most challenging work and doesn’t define us. We accept our community’s sick, injured, abused, unwanted, stray, neglected and older animals; donations to our Hope Program enable us to help and rehome approximately 200 every month. (Sadly, private shelters in many communities never give them a chance). We rehabilitate wildlife, make spay/neuter free for our low or fixed-income residents, educate children, and investigate animal cruelty. PHS/SPCA is one of the few shelters in the entire state accredited by the American Animal Hospital association and we’re a gold-level GuideStar Exchange participant (click the seal below to access our GuideStar nonprofit report). We take our work and mission seriously, but also have fun. It's why we've adopted "Sit Happens!" as our Behavior & Training Dept slogan and have "Go Nuts” emblazoned across the back our of mobile spay/neuter clinic. Most important, we’ve earned our community’s trust, involvement and support.

Endangered Species International (ESI) is strongly committed to reversing the trend of human-induced species extinction, saving endangered animals, and preserving wild places! ESI uses less than 2% of its budget for management and operations. ESI won multiple Top-Rated Awards from GreatNonprofits and has reached the Platinum participation level through the GuideStar Exchange.

The mission of Operation Kindness is to care for homeless cats and dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into responsible homes and to advocate humane values and behavior.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation provides private support to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas and to provide hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation activities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.

The National Park Foundation, in partnership with the National Park Service, enriches America’s national parks and programs through private support, safeguarding our heritage and inspiring generations of national park enthusiasts. NPF programs fund park conservation and restoration efforts, foster youth engagement, promote citizenship and preserve history in the places where it happened.

As one of Africa’s oldest wildlife charities and a leading conservation organisation, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT) embraces all measures that complement the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife.

Save the Chimps’ mission is to provide sanctuary and exemplary care to chimpanzees in need, and their vision is a world in which chimpanzees are free from exploitation and endangerment.

Back To The Wild Inc., is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, but without limitation thereon to rehabilitate and ultimately release into their natural habitat injured and orphaned wildlife and present educational programs.

The International Wildlife Coexistence Network provides expert interdisciplinary assistance, training, collaboration, and shared research to enable communities around the globe to coexist with wildlife. The IWCN is an inclusive organization. We share our informational resources and provide widespread support for all who seek to peacefully resolve conflicts with wildlife. Our interdisciplinary teams include scientists, agricultural managers, researchers, ethicists, economists, government specialists, educators, indigenous leaders, technical engineers and more who are helping to pioneer new ways to live with wildlife. When possible, we connect our experts with communities that need help transforming wildlife conflicts into non-violent sustainable solutions. The Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program (OISTPP) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization whose mission is to monitor and protect the sea turtle population that visits the Oak Island, NC beach strand.
