Founded in 1984, the Omaha Zoo Foundation supports the mission, research and programs benefitting Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. To ensure a growing, vibrant Zoo for future generations, it is our priority to build a solid philanthropic foundation for Omaha’s community treasure.

Educating has been the primary goal of the sanctuary. My “Turtles to you” program, has been very successful and through it many children have had an opportunity to learn, see and touch box turtles of all sizes. This program will continue as long as there are children. Future hopes for the facility at the sanctuary include field trips, where turtles can be observed in their natural habitat

TreeHouse Wildlife Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1979 dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native wildlife while promoting environmental awareness through education.

Appalachian Wildlife Refuge coordinates wildlife rehabilitation efforts in western North Carolina by providing high quality care for injured and orphaned wildlife, supporting the wildlife rehabilitation network through our ability to help numerous species, and offering outreach and education regarding wildlife conservation and coexistence to the community.

The Center for Great Apes' mission is to provide a permanent sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees who have been rescued or retired from the entertainment industry, from research, or from the exotic pet trade.  The Center provides care with dignity in a safe, healthy, and enriching environment for great apes in need of lifetime care.

Our mission is a 3 part mission: to rescue and revive the unbridled spirit in both our rescued horses and our American heroes. To educate and advocate for our American Mustangs as well as horses that are stuck in the slaughter pipeline. To offer our American heroes a place to come together and witness the extraordinary connections one can make with an unbridled spirit.

In order to guarantee all Americans quality places to hunt and fish, they strengthen laws, policies, and practices affecting fish and wildlife conservation by leading partnerships that influence decision-makers.

Our mission is to facilitate and promote the protection and preservation of sea turtle populations and habitats by implementing conservation and protection measures through action, education, and collaboration with visitors, residents, landowners, businesses, government agencies, and other non-government and conservation organizations.
