Spirit’s Promise Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation rescues horses who have been abused, neglected, or unwanted. When these beautiful animals arrive, we give them a new educational and recuperative purpose. In return, they repay us with love, sensitivity, and an innate spirituality unique to the species.

Toka's Friends is a non-profit, volunteer run organization that trains service dogs for military veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI and other difficulties. These service dogs are provided at no cost to the veteran.

Ray of Light was established to provide a place where animals and people can form healthy connections in a safe environment. In addition, we aspire to be a healing presence in a wounded world. NEER North actively rescues horses and donkeys in need. There are a wide variety of situations including owner surrenders, abuse and neglect, where these majestic animals are at risk of diminished health or, worse yet, heading to slaughter. NEER North is a safe haven where these animals are rehabilitated with the intention of adoption into new families. NEER North also networks closely with other like minded equine rescue organizations, assisting where needed.

Social Tees Animal Rescue is a not-­for-profit, strictly no-­kill 501c3 organization in the East Village of NYC that takes abandoned animals from kill shelters and provides them with safe haven and veterinary care before placing them in proper forever homes.

VIP Dog Teams goal is to provide Therapy Dogs to perform Goal Oriented Therapy (G.O.T. Dogs). Then as a team with their owner, the dogs will go out and help individuals in our community who need assistance. VIP also strives to raise awareness about the daily struggles people with disabilities face.

The Hard Knocks Mission:With our individualized, respect-based training and decompression program, we will ensure more dogs find and keep loving homes. We will assist local shelters and rescues in rehabilitating abused and neglected dogs who are considered “unadoptable” due to anxiety triggered behavioral issues. We will provide training and resources for the entire community to promote safer interactions between dogs, their canine companions, and humans. In doing so, we will help reduce the number of dogs euthanized due to fear-based reactivity.

Therapy comes in many different forms, for many different people, for many different reasons. Therapy dogs provide a type of therapy that is different than almost anything else. They provide a sense of comfort, peace, patience, ease, love, and provide all of this…especially, during times of crisis.

CONSERVATION THROUGH EDUCATION: TO WORK WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY TO CREATE PERSONAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN PEOPLE, ANIMALS AND THEIR SHARED ENVIRONMENT. The mission of the Kindness Ranch is to provide a sanctuary and place of rehabilitation for animals who have been used in laboratory research while fostering compassion for all animals.Consistent with our mission, we work to rehabilitate our dogs and cats in a home-like environment. Cats and dogs at The Kindness Ranch live together with their human caretakers in spacious yurts specially designed to meet their needs. They receive round-the-clock care to help them adjust to their new lives.The Kindness Ranch also provides an adoption program for all the animals we can rehabilitate. Those who are too debilitated, old or ill to be placed in a loving home can remain on the ranch to live out their days, surrounded by caretakers and volunteers who put the animals’ well-being first.***Kindness Ranch IS a 501c3 non profit organization.
