THE PURPOSE OF HOPEFUL TAILS ANIMAL RESCUE IS TO: (A) RESCUE DOGS IN DANGER OF BEING EUTHANIZED AT HIGH KILL SHELTERS, (B) TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DOGS THAT ARE SURRENDERED BY OWNERS THAT CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM, (C) PROVIDE NECESSARY VETERINARY CARE WITH THE INCLUSION OF A SPAY OR NEUTER, (D) PROVIDE LOVING TEMPORARY CARE AT HOPEFUL TAILS AND WITH THE FOSTER PROGRAM, (E) PLACE RESCUED DOGS INTO WELL-MATCHED, CAREFULLY SELECTED, PERMANENT ADOPTIVE HOMES AND (F) SERVE AS A RESOURCE TO THE COMMUNITY AND ALL DOG OWNERS BY PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION ON RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP, INCLUDING THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAY OR NEUTER, POSITIVE BEHAVIOR TRAINING AND GOOD NUTRITION.

Assistance Dogs International (ADI) is a coalition of not for profit assistance dog organizations. The purpose of ADI is to: - Improve the training, placement, and utilization of assistance dogs - Educate the public about assistance dogs - Develop and uphold the highest standards in the assistance dog industry

To provide a safe haven for domestic animals, regardless of breed or species; through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and sanctuary. To advocate for the humane treatment of animals, and promote the human-animal bond. To educate the public about the importance of kindness, compassion, and responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on spaying and neutering. To cooperate and work with other animal rescues and shelters towards the goal of becoming a no-kill nation

-We rescue unwanted, homeless pets. -We provide foster care. -We find loving, responsible forever homes. Our ultimate goal: -To educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering to diminish the overpopulation of homeless animals. -To diminish the total amount of animals euthanized in shelters. -To offer support and resources to responsible animal owners.

Our overarching mission is to help homeless, abused, and special needs animals receive the veterinary care they desperately need; to find loving, permanent homes for all adoptable animals that have been placed in our care; to provide low-cost spay/neuter services to under-resourced communities and individuals; and to put an end to needless euthanasia because of pet overpopulation.

The TADSAW (Train A Dog - Save A Warrior) mission is to provide for the training of a Medical Alert Service Dog, as designated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, for Any wounded Veteran Service Member (Active Duty, Retired, Discharged), surviving with Military Induced Anxiety Depression Syndrome (MIADS), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), in order to restore and improve the Veteran's Quality of Life with a canine 'Battle Buddy', at no charge to the Veteran or their family.

Ninna's Road to Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue and re-home primarily small-breed dogs, to include senior dogs and dogs in kill-shelters and retired breeder dogs; to provide assistance to pet owners needing to re-home their pet via our Adoption Assistance Program; provide responsible pet ownership education and help the animals at local and surrounding animal control facilities.

Animal Friends - VA addresses, coordinates and provides aid and relief to abused animals and finds loving homes for those animals. We provide education during interviews and meet and greets on the care animals deserve and ensure through contracts that our animals will be taken care of after adoption.Our program raises consciousness about the cause of over population at animal shelters, the importance of spaying and neutering your pets and the benefits of good veterinarian care. We contribute to vetting and operational expenses at other animal shelters and assist by placing their pets into loving homes.We also offer volunteer opportunities which provides opportunities for involvement in said activities and programs in order to have a greater impact for change in the community.

We match those in our county who need help, whether citizens, businesses, government entities, or other nonprofits, with volunteers to work on the help needed. We are not a social services agency, and the scope of the work needed has to fall within the guidelines set for our volunteer program. Some types of work needed by citizens are outside of the scope of our work, and we help these citizens find an agency where the client needs to qualify to receive help needed.We will offer our volunteers the opportunity to upload hours served on time sheets, for completed work, to be translated into points. These points can be accumulated and will be redeemable in the form of gifts, just like the Fetch program used for vendor receipt uploads. This program is currently being developed. MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Like all humane groups, MAGDRL is in the unique position of helping both humans and pets. In our case, the pets are Great Danes and mixed Dane dogs, and the people are all those who have or want the companionship of the breed or, often, just dogs in general

The mission of Monmouth County Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals is to protect and advocate for all animals. We are dedicated to enforcing animal cruelty laws; providing a safe haven for homeless, abused and abandoned pets while they await adoption; reducing pet over-population through spay/neutering; and cultivating their humane treatment through education and service as a valuable community resource.
