We rescue all species of animals from any form of abuse, neglect, or who have special needs; and introduce them to children who also come from abuse, trauma, or who have special needs for unconditional friendship and understanding! Children and adults learn together what unconditional love is all about. How to begin to trust and share the joy of understanding and looking with your heart and not just your eyes.

Safe In Austin is about bringing animals and kids/adults together who share in life experiences, from deformities, anxiety, depression, abuse, neglect and everything in-between, our animals understand as they have been through the exact same situation in their lives, yet they still love unconditionally. That is the bond they share knowing they each can relate to one another. We here so often "they are just like me" Both healing together.
