The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. The Ocean Cleanup has three core approaches to tackling plastic pollution: 1) Clean legacy ocean plastic - Since 2018, The Ocean Cleanup has deployed technologies to remove plastic that has accumulated in ocean garbage patches. It's current system (System 002) has removed more than 225,000 kg of plastic from The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. 2) Turn off the tap: The Ocean Cleanup also develops and deploys Interceptor technologies that prevent plastic from reaching the oceans via rivers, focusing on 1000 rivers that are responsible for 80% of riverine plastic pollution. To date, 19 Interceptor solutions have been deployed across 8 countries. 3) Research: In the process of understanding the problem, The Ocean Cleanup has become a global leader in field research on marine plastic pollution.

Our mission is to conserve polar bears and the sea ice they depend on. Through media, science, and advocacy, we work to inspire people to care about the Arctic, the threats to its future, and the connection between this remote region and our global climate.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is a private, non-profit organization serving San Diego County where "people help animals and animals help people." With 14 unique programs all dedicated to that mission, the Center provides lifesaving rescue and medical care to thousands of orphan pets yearly, animal assisted therapy to children and adults in need, and humane education to thousands of children, teaching them about the importance of fostering the animal-human bond.

Turning for Home Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabbing retired racehorses needing a second chance. We work tirelessly to provide the medical care, training, and loving attention that these horses deserve. The Humane Society of Broward County provides shelter, aid and responsible adoptions to animals entrusted to our care, and educates the community about respect and kindness to all animals. The Humane Society of Broward County relies on the generosity of our community and companies to fund our operations and programs budget. We do not get funding from the government, United Way or any other national or local organizations with similar names. Income sources are: adoption fees; services such as dog obedience, vaccination clinics, spay/neuter programs; pet boutique sales; fundraising events; grants; general donations and from those people who leave the shelter in their will. Every dollar is carefully spent to help the unwanted animals.

Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity with an all-volunteer staff.  It exists to provide rescue and adoption services for Labrador Retrievers who are homeless, or whose owners have abandoned, or are about to abandon them in the community or to local animal control or other humane organizations. Provide education on the importance of vet care/spay and neuter and responsible pet ownership. Area of activity is northeastern Ohio and northwestern Pennsylvania.
