Mission Blue is an initiative of the Sylvia Earle Alliance (S.E.A.) to explore and care for the ocean. We draw inspiration from the vision of our founder, Dr. Sylvia Earle, to ignite public support for the protection of Hope Spots – special places that are vital to the health of the ocean, the blue heart of our planet. By uniting a coalition of partners from around the globe, we are committed to inspiring an upwelling of public awareness, access and support for a worldwide network of marine protected areas ranging from the seamounts of the high seas to shallow sunlit reefs, and to supporting a significant increase in ocean protection from less than three percent today to 20% by the year 2020.

As the state’s only open admission, high- save animal welfare organization, NHS helps nearly 18,000 pets each year. For over 90 years, our team of highly trained staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure that homeless pets get the care and second chance they deserve: a life filled with joy and health in a loving home. With a mission deeply rooted in care, kindness, and community engagement, we have become a cornerstone of humane treatment and animal welfare in the region.

We raise awareness and resources for homeless dogs and the heroes who fight for them through storytelling, photography, film, advocacy, education, and support.

The Worcester Animal Rescue League gives compassion to every being that turns to us for help, providing shelter and care for animals as well as respect and resources for people.

We seek out and take in the animals who no other organization will help or would simply euthanize because they are too expensive to heal. We rescue the abandoned, beaten, bred, fought, injured, terrified, defeated and betrayed. The minute they enter our doors, we look in their eyes and promise them ALL the second chance they deserve for health, home, commitment and love, no matter the amount of time or cost involved. Our Vision is to ensure a bright future for the underdog. To end needless suffering, negligence, and abuse. To serve the City of St. Louis and surrounding metro areas and have the largest inner-city animal sanctuary in the country.

Heifer International's mission is to end hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth in a sustainable way by supporting and investing alongside local farmers and their communities. Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform more than 52 million households by working in partnership with the communities we serve. Our programs support entrepreneurs around the world, creating lasting change from the ground up. It begins with a seed investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business, and ultimately to gain access to supply chains and markets. These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders. By supporting and training the world's farmers, ranchers, and female business owners, we're investing in a new breed of success. Palm Springs Animal Shelter is the only public shelter in the Coachella Valley operating under the no-kill philosophy. We are managed and operated by Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter a 501(c)(3) organization (TAX ID 33-0731853) dedicated to responsible pet stewardship and the humane treatment on animals. We depend on our community to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, and most of all, to believe that together, we can save lives.
