Established in 1983, ALKC puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs. Assistance League of Kansas City, a chapter of National Assistance League, fulfills specific unmet needs of children and adults in the Kansas City area through philanthropic programs developed, funded and operated by dedicated volunteers and community partners. Assistance League volunteers transform the lives of children and adults through community programs.
