Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) works on behalf of the 15 million Americans with food allergies, including all those at risk for life-threatening anaphylaxis. This potentially deadly disease affects 1 in 13 children in the United States – or roughly two in every classroom. FARE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was formed in 2012 as the result of a merger between the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network and the Food Allergy Initiative. FARE’s mission is to ensure the safety and inclusion of individuals with food allergies while relentlessly seeking a cure.

Operation Gratitude seeks to honor the service of our military and first responders by creating opportunities to express gratitude. In March 2003, Operation Gratitude sent its first four individually addressed care packages to deployed service members in Iraq. In subsequent years, Operation Gratitude grew and intentionally expanded its reach to include recruit graduates, veterans, military families, and first responders. Our actions have served to lift the spirits of more than 3.3 million individuals and have provided opportunities for millions of Americans to express their appreciation for those who serve and protect our nation and their communities. Literacy Partners advances literacy two generations at a time, by supporting adults, parents, and caregivers in nurturing the literacy skills they and the children in their lives need to thrive.

The American Cinematheque was created to 1) honor and promote America's indigenous art form: the Moving Picture; 2) present the full range of film and video, not otherwise available, to the widest possible audience; 3) establish a forum for an on-going dialogue between filmmakers and their adiences, 4) provide high profile exhibition facilities for other independent film and video festivals and organizations; and 5) encourage and support new talent by creating a showcase for their work.

When a child is born with a severe hearing loss, the impact on the parents and the problems facing the child are staggering. John Tracy Clinic is a place where parents of young deaf children can find hope, guidance and encouragement. Its purpose is to train and support parents in helping their young deaf children develop the communication skills necessary to reach their full potential. The Clinic was founded by Louise Tracy, wife of actor Spencer Tracy, whose son, John, was born deaf.

The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International is dedicated to the conservation and protection of gorillas and their habitats in Africa. We are committed to promoting continued research on their threatened ecosystems and education about their relevance to the world in which we live.
