PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the fur trade, and in the entertainment industry. PETA also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs. PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and direct action.

Every Day Action

Every Day Action recycles waste and re-distributes it to those in need. Our mission is to inspire others to take care of their local community and to ask themselves daily: what can I do to help someone today? Working in conjunction with film sets, restaurants, grocery stores, and other vendors, we take food and belongings one might perceive as waste and get it into the hands of the underprivileged and homeless communities. Our hope is to bridge the gap between the upper middle class and the millions of Americans in need, while inspiring our friends and neighbors to do the same.
