We pride ourselves in allowing the communities that we serve to determine the work that we are doing; not funding, in turn differentiating OSKC from mainstream organizations here in the KC metro area. Our Spot KC provides community enrichment and development programs and operates an LGBTQ specific housing program providing transitional and rapid re-housing services for those in need.

The Knights and Orchids Society (TKO) envisions a future where Transgender, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Gay (TLBG) Black people are empowered to live full and healthy lives free from harm.
